Chapter 4, Page 8, Book 13

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it .

William A. Ward

WORD FOR TODAY:

 Gratitude

The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness

Being grateful and showing gratitude.

Remember a time when you felt pleased from your work.  A delicious meal or finishing touch on a home improvement project.  It's important to take time to admire our work. We can be grateful for a job well done.

Even greater than our own personal satisfaction is the realization that we often don't accomplish this alone.  Maybe some one covered for us, or gave advice.  It's even more important to acknowledge and to appreciate those that helped us.  Being grateful for the help and for our helpers.

It's important for is to  slow down and enjoy what we create and be grateful to those that help us and to take time to give thanks and praise.

It's nice to be important, but it more important to be nice.
