Chapter 2, Page 9, Book 13

Make the most of the present opportunity

Eph 5:16

Todays Word:

Confidence:

full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a personor thing

belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance:

I've found that each year brings more opportunity and greater strength into my life.  Each and every day opportunity knocks and we often need a lot of confidence in order to open the door.

Self confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings. What your mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.

Our Father in heaven has said that everything He created was very good. We need to believe that about ourselves.  Believing  what God says about you, not what other people have said about you. God created you, and He looked at you and proclaimed, Very good!

I have confidence that everything will be all right.  I've been given the strength to open that door.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
Love yourself as God loves you and love others as yourself.

Do you think it is a process - I think the older you are the more comfortable with your life - no it is not always perfect - but sometimes I feel it is more accessing. sandie

I do agree that we get more confident as we get older; I think we get more comfortable with ourselves, we stop proving ourselves or our worth. Now if we could only do that earlier in our lives and remember what you wrote here, Ma, that God created us and we are worth a lot especially in his eyes!
