Chapter 11, Page 10, Book 12

Strength Vs Courage
It takes strength to be firm.
It takes courage to be gentle.

It takes strength to stand guard.
It takes courage to let down your guard.

It takes strength to conquer.
It takes courage to surrender.

It takes strength to be certain.
It takes courage to have doubt.

It takes strength to fit in.
It takes courage to stand out.

It takes strength to feel a friend's pain.
It takes courage to feel your own pain.

It takes strength to hide your own pains.
It takes courage to show them.

It takes strength to endure abuse.
It takes courage to stop it.

It takes strength to stand alone.
It takes courage to lean on another.

It takes strength to love.
It takes courage to be loved.

It takes strength to survive.
It takes courage to live.

# 10 of 30 things I'm thankful for in November

I am thankful for the strength I have , both inside and out . I am strong enough to do what is needed and  have a strong mind to cope with hard times,

I've learned that when adversity strikes, you don't get down, except on your knees

If you see me on my knees. It's not because I'm weak. I'm getting stronger..

Strong Woman vs. a Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape...
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything...
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her...
but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone...

A strong woman walks sure footedly...
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her if she falls...

A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face...
but a woman of strength wears grace...

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey...
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...

This is great and so much to think about, especially as I want to be a woman of strength. A woman of strength knows there is Someone stronger to lean on in difficult times and He is always there. Have a great Saturday!

Good stuff Ma. STRENGTH, yes we too are thankful.
Headed for a funeral, went to a wedding rehearsal last night, life is full of ironies.

I liked that poem of strength versus courage especially the last line, strength to survive and courage to live. So true. I do agree we get our strength and our courage by spending time on our knees praying and also spending time in God's word; he reminds us time after time to be strong and be courageous; he too knew we would need those two traits to live our lives.

have a great Saturday!
