Chapter 10, Page 11, Book 12

Come said the wind to the leaves one day,
Come o'er the meadows and we will play.
Put on your dresses scarlet and gold,
For summer is gone and the days grow cold.
From a children's song of the 1880's

How beautifully the leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days

The harvest of old age is the recollection and abundance of blessing previously secured.

Marcus Tullius Cicero

Contentment is not possessing everything but giving thanks for everything you possess.

Wishing you glimpses of beauty in every leaf...

I like that thought of contentment, to give thanks for everything one possesses. That truly is contentment indeed!

I like this short verse about Autumn Leaves Ma.
We are truly Blessed with four wonderful Seasons.

The leaves had a wonderful frolic.
They danced to the wind's loud song.
They whirled, and they floated, and scampered.
They circled and flew along.

The moon saw the little leaves dancing.
Each looked like a small brown bird.
The man in the moon smiled and listened.
And this is the song he heard.

The North Wind is calling, is calling,
And we must whirl round and round,
And then, when our dancing is ended,
We'll make a warm quilt for the ground.

Have a Blessed Thursday Ma.Take Care God Bless Kath xx
