Chapter 7, Page 18, Book 12

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in,
where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

John Muir

WONDERFUL Wednesday/ the beauty of life

The beauty could be in the form of a rising sun, the sound of your child’s laugh, the flowing steam off a fresh morning coffee, or that beautiful and coy smile from a stranger on your way to work.
When we think of beauty, most of us immediately think of things such as beautiful places and people -- things that can be seen.  But when I stop and think about it, simple sounds in life can be beautiful too.  This could be the laughter of a child, the sound of a thunderstorm or a subtle morning rain.  All sound is invisible, yet sounds can be utterly beautiful.
Peace and contentment can not be seen or smelled or touched.  It is not visible, yet it can also be one of the most beautiful feelings we can ever have.
There truly is beauty all around us. Seen or unseen life is wonderful when we think about all that is beautiful.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen
or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.

Helen Keller

I’ve discovered that even if you’re not exactly where you’d like to be, that doesn’t mean that life right now can’t be beautiful or enjoyable. And the best part is, you don’t have to do anything to make it beautiful. It already is beautiful.  All you have to do is open your eyes and your heart.  It's often where you would least expect to find it.

One of the biggest blocks to recognizing all of life’s extraordinary beautiful moments is that we often don’t stop to listen.

Beauty is experienced through a state of peace, never through a state of condemnation. And remember that non-judgment also means to stop complaining.

Surrendering to each moment, accepting things and people as they are, your heart will begin to open to beauty that is all around us.

Emptiness truly roars. Silence speaks. Space gives birth to form.
It’s in the gaps that beauty is found.

It's a Wonderful Wednesday here at my house I'm hoping it's a beautiful day at your house too!

I like that Ma that we don't take time to stop and listen; that is so true in so many things! Great reminder to take that time out of our busy days to stop and listen and be still indeed!

Hoping the day will be a great one!

Ah yes, it is beautiful at our house today also. Here in the middle of a huge, beautiful live and active farm. It is funny, I have to get pictures. kid goats wondering around for the kids to play with, pet and feed. Cows, horses and chickens for us city folk to learn and enjoy. It was a good idea someone had. This place is out of the way, but fills up on the weekends. That is why we only got 3 days here, we did not make reservations early enough.
Love from Pennsylvania!!!
