Chapter 6, Page 21, Book 12

Count your blessings.
Once you realize how valuable you are
and how much you have going for you,
the smiles will return,
the sun will break out,the music will play,
and you will finally be able to move forward
with the life that God intended for you with
grace, strength, courage, and confidence.

THANKFUL  Thursday

Do you take stock each day of the who, what, and how of your fabulous life? Many of us can agree that we've found our lives to actually not be so fabulous at times; but in looking at the bigger picture, there's probably plenty that we can be grateful for.

Unfortunately, I think we live in a world where some people just expect certain things and never take the time to be appreciative when they get them; or worse, they never take the time to be appreciative in general. The importance of appreciation is often overlooked. Some people don’t ever feel appreciated themselves; and therefore, they have a hard time helping others feel appreciated.

Gratitude for a healthy body and mind is something we are often reminded of when we are exposed to another person who is not as fortunate. Remember that whatever physical aliments you might be dealing with, someone, somewhere is probably fighting a similar or worse battle than you. When we are feeling bad, mentally, physically, or emotionally, it is a great time to get in the habit of making a mental list of all we have to be grateful for.

Taking the time to appreciate one another or ourselves daily has the power to transform our relationships.  When we feel appreciated and accepted we feel more motivated, secure, lighter and inspired.  Love gives us the power to do better and stand taller.

We all experience and influence each other.  It is my hope that we can take the time to appreciate one another, hold each other up and help each other out.  Gratitude is good for all, especially you!

Like a waterfall, God's blessings and grace flow over us.  Over time, these gifts change our hearts.  Instead of walking gingerly through each day hoping nothing bad happens, we find ourselves walking in confidence and even joy.

I'm taking the time today to appreciate and show gratitude for all the people in my life today.  I love you all and wish you only the very best.

I am thankful for all of you !

I like that line, Ma, like a waterfall, God's blessings and grace flow over us. That is a great image to have in our minds! I so agree with you that we do live in a world where some expect certain things and never are appreciative of what they have. That is sad. I, for one, know that you are very appreciative of what you have!
