It is rather fantastic to think that this week has gone by so fast. One minute I was greeting the New Year in and now it's the 7th of January already.

I like the little reminders that are found in the survival kit above. All of them are things we often forget. Visual things like a mint to remind you just how valuable you are are needed sometimes.

I especially like the Tea Bag to remind you to take time to relax and go over your list of blessings too.

We can all soar with the eagles when we have love, gratitude, friends to cherish, caring , sharing , laughter, music and warm feelings in our hearts.

The majestic eagle can teach us much about rising above the storms of life and learning to soar. The eagle possesses great beauty as well as tremendous strength and skill. The eagle is also highly respected by man.

For Americans, this bird is the symbol of our country. Its image is engraved on our national seal. Additionally, when we lay our eyes upon this creature we can’t help but be amazed. Its flight is nothing short of dramatic. Each of these great birds seems to just glide on the air with movements that are more elegant than a waltz.

Did you know that an eagle can detect when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? It will actually fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm.

While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above. It does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. What an extraordinary way to deal with adversity

Remember the storms do not have to overcome us any more than they overcome the eagle

So today FLY like the eagle and have a FANTASTIC Friday!
