Chapter 1, Page 10, Book 11

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Lao Tzu

It's Merry Monday!

I've heard a lot of people say they are really tired of winter already. But we've got a long way to go until Spring comes so I guess we'd better get used to it. Old man winter seems to like it here and is sticking around for awhile.

Others are thrilled that they have had snow. Some people, unlike me, don't get it very often. When we get used to the same old things all the time, something new and exciting always has more appeal.

Today is a new day and the beginning of a new week. That sounds pretty exciting to me. Today we're going to have the opportunity to see, do, and experience something we've never had before and will never have again.

The attitude toward which we approach our coming hours, ours plans, goals and responsibilities determines what kind of day we are going to have.Today we woke up to new mercies, new challenges and problems, new hopes, new joys, and new reasons to be thankful. What we choose to focus on is up to us. There is an old proverb that says, As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Start each new day believing for a good day and you will have it!. What you think on the inside is reflected on the outside, whether you like it or not.

When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love

Marcus Aurelius

I hope your Monday is a MERRY one.

It is amazing how so many quotes of the wise of this world fit our every day lives.

It is also so true how a line from the Scripture, can set our hearts to singing or thinking of his goodness!

Some stop us in our tracks! We think, God is RIGHT!
