Independence Day is a patriotic holiday for celebrating the positive aspects of the United States.
Independence Day celebrates the birthday of the United States of America. Founded July 4th 1776, with the signing of the Declaration of Independence,
America is celebrating it's 234th birthday this year
At the time, there were approximately 2.5 million people living in those 13 colonies. This 4th of July, there will more than 304 million people in the United States.

And I won't forget the men who died,

The human body is like an old-fashioned wind-up clock. If it is not rewound by rest, ultimately it will run itself down.
Let your soul catch up with your body. Today is Sunday and it's a holiday so it's a really good day for R & R/ Rest and relaxation, renewal and restoration.
Slow down, simplify and enjoy life.
I don't know about you, but I still get goose bumps when I hear the song, God Bless America, or when I stand and Pledge Allegiance To The Flag.
So enjoy the holiday, but don't forget those that made it possible. As always you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
As you can see by the pictures today we were not only celebrating the 4th this weekend but we also had DS#1's dog's first birthday too.
There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America.
