Chapter 3, Page 7, Book 10

The best is yet to be

Robert Browning

Tomorrow is my birthday and I have to tell you all that growing old is not easy, the journey to this point in my life was bumpy to say the least. Life however goes on whether or not we think we are ready for it, before you know it life can pass you by. Don’t let it. Be aware of the blessings in each and every day and then when the calendar says you are old your can rejoice in the good life you’ve had.

I have had many more blessings than not, so whenever I hit a low point I can review the good parts and be thankful. In today’s world people are living longer and chances are I’ve got many great years ahead. If I do I’ll remember the lessons I’ve learned and keep on making each day the best I can.

The good Lord has plans for me as he does for us all. My hopes are that I can follow where ever he leads me. I have loads of faith that he’ll take me where he wants me to be and also provide me with whatever I may need to get the job done too.

I say that with confidence as He has done a great job of it so far and I see no reason to doubt that he would do otherwise in the future.

I am just pulling off of Route 65 and entering Route 66. I’m sure it’s going to be an thrilling journey. I hope you’ll join me in this new and exciting ride.

Life is a journey to be enjoyed to the fullest.

Life goes fast, be willing to catch it when you can!

Have a wonderful and blessed birthday. I always say that when He is ready for us..he'll call us home. And until then, we keep on keeping on and thank Him for each day and each opportunity to shine our light. Bless you...Linda in Washington state

Happy, happy birthday wishes! I've always liked the Browning poem, though at reciting it at 16 is very different than 59. I have trouble dealing with the thought of "the last of days."
On a different note, thanks for sharing the beautiful photo.

I just learned from a book I am reading that we are here because our purpose has not been fulfilled; therefore the most important things of our lives are ahead. Isn't that a good thought? And we already knew that, didn't we? A very, very happy birthday Pam.
