Chapter 2, Page 13, Book 10

The cute little candy dish in the picture above was a bargain purchase a few weeks ago at our local Goodwill store for $1.50. I love it when I find a bargain.

DD and I will be busy shopping all day today. But I wanted to share a few thoughts with you today about tomorrow...VALENTINES DAY!

Did you know? While 75% of chocolate purchases are made by women all year long, during the days and minutes before Valentine's Day, 75% of the chocolate purchases are made by men. Over $1billion of chocolate is purchased for Valentine's Day

It's hard to think of Valentine's Day without evoking visions of chocolate delights. Start the day with a chocolate infused coffee. Splurge a few calories on French toast with strawberries and a drizzle of chocolate. At lunch, maybe stop by your favorite bakery and enjoy a tiny chocolate dessert, just one? Then, top off dinner with a lovely hot chocolate and a dollop of whipped cream.

I heard on the news that chocolate is really good for you and the darker it is, the better it is for your health too!

No matter what your circumstances, you can never have too many special days. Life's too short to waste a minute. So whether you're just pampering yourself or inviting someone along for the celebration, take time on Valentine's Day to remember that every day is special

May this Valentine's Day
be filled with love, understanding, and contentment
as you journey through life with those you hold dear

‘On Ya - ma

I used to love chocolate on Valentine's Day. Alas no more. I am not keen on the diabetic chocolate so it is a thing of the past. It is a very good anti-depressant as well. Well, I can dream about some tomorrow.

I'm not particularly fond of chocolate. I do eat a bit of it especially Turtles, however it's not high on my list. Now roses on the other hand I could have in my home everyday of the year if I could. Hope you are having a wonderful day shopping and spending time with family. Hugs

Love your Valentine look. I like milk chocolate best, but am trying to develop a better appreciation of dark. They're both pretty yummy. Hugs and wishes for a cozy day.
