Chapter 3, Page 25, Book 09

A band performing at an outdoor concert kept playing
although the crowd had dwindled down to one man.
Finally, the tired musicians told the man that if he left, they could all go home.
It's up to you, he answered.
I'm just waiting to put away all those folding chairs

Proverb for Today

Smart people are patient
They will be honored if they ignore insults

Proverbs 19:11

GOOD MORNING !

In our fast paced world patience is almost a virtue of the past. No one wants to wait for anything. We have become so accustomed to having things quickly that to wait is a terrible inconvenience. But we have lost a lot in the ‘quick delivery’ of things too. Customer service is someplace we all hope we never have to go to. Even when we get ill a lot of people expect the doc to give them a shot of antibiotics and they’ll get well sooner. I know there are times when they are needed, but I’ve also heard that because of their over use, they are not as effective as they once were.

I’ve been impatient for winter to end, for warmth and sunshine to come and stay and I’ve been rewarded by having some below freezing nights and chilly March winds. I’m being told to wait a little longer…be patient…it will come in God’s own time.

There is very little one can do about the weather except wait it out for sure.

TODAY’S BLESSING

When the first light of sun-Bless you.

When the long day is done-Bless you.

In your smiles and your tears-Bless you.

Through each day of your years-Bless you

‘On Ya’-ma

Take your needle, my child, and work at your pattern; it will come out a rose by and by. Life is life that; one stitch at a time taken patiently and the pattern will come out all right, like embroidery

I agree with you. Most people don't have any patience at all. I try to keep mine in check. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

I agree with you. At times it's had to be patient, isn't it. Especially when it comes to weather. Great advise once again.
