Chapter 10, Page 10, Book 08

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band."

George Cooper, October's Party

GOOD MORNING !

I just had to post that poem in my entry today as it is just beautiful weather here. All the trees are turning color and the skies are blue and the sun is shinning. I love the feeling of the weakening sunshine on my back. It is not as hot now as it was in the summer. But still warm enough to feel good for sure.

Fridays are always my favorite day of the week as I know after work my weekend begins. Today however will be an unusually busy day at work as I’m having to do Monday’s payroll today. Columbus Day is Monday and that means our banks are closed so in order to have everyone paid on time the payroll must be done early.

I’ve still been unable to migrate my old journals over to blogger. I’ve created a list of empty blogs in the effort so if you see them listed in the section that is about me…just ignore them. They are empty sorry to say all my attempts have failed so far.

I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I’ll be back Sunday evening with lots of pictures to share of my weekend FALL FESTIVAL at the campground.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Appreciation accelerates accomplishment.
People go on to bigger things
when they are made to feel
that their work is worthwhile

Pam, I would delete all the empty blogs and try again. If you try to move your AOL journal over to a blog that already exists, it won't overwrite anything. Delete those blogs, then when it asks you for where to move your AOL journal, THEN type in the name of a new blog. Does that make sense? Email me if you have questions.

In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend!

Beth
