On The Porch

The wind rushing through the grass,
the thrush in the treetops, and children
tumbling in senseless mirth stir in
us a bright faith in life.
Donald Culross Plattie

I made it ! Mark it on the Calendar, I was able to get out on the porch and swing ! It was heavenly. First time this year ! About 8:15 though, I had to come in as it was getting chilly. We are blessed with a nice breeze on that side of the house. I'd like to put the screen in the door so some of that breeze could come inside, but the cat loves to climb the screen - so the glass stay in all year.
This has been a mostly peaceful, mostly sunny day. I got the car washed at lunch time and finally got the bugs off the front from my trip to the campsite this past weekend. Bugs are certainly a sign of warm weather. In the winter it's wash the road salt off the car, in the spring/summer it's wash the bugs off...
I'd rather have bugs !
Grandma Quote for Today
What we desire our children and grandchildren to become,
we must endeavor to be before them.
